 Day 1 of 12 of going to china 23/3/10
I wake up early in the morning at 8 pm, still hoping for some extra sleep. But Noo.. time is not enough, my mum and I have to prepare for the trip. At around 9 am, it started to rain.. very heavily.. what a bad weather . So we waited until 11 am for the rain to stop and off we go. My dad came back to take us to the airport. We took the taxi for $6+ I think its ok . We checked in and then got in to shop! My mum brought 2 bottles of dom wine for my aunt and ahma , but I paid for it .. haiz nvm.. Got on to the plane at 1.15 pm .. when I got onto the plane I was shiock as I didn't sat before jetstar plane .. It was Small.. very Small.. SO now * I was typing this on the plane And the idiot uncle infront ah.. keep on pushing down his chair .. and make my space even smaller. And also even shiocking news is that the food have to pay.. For my previous experience with the other airlines, their food is included and they have Tv too and the seat is much more spacious. So now I thought , never mind lucky I have the money but .. the food was .. not really up to the expectations. Should have taken other airline but none of them goes direct to shan tou .. where my mum families were. Abit dissapointed about this flight. But I guess it might get better. (after I get off the plane). Reach the airport of shantou at 6 pm and uncle come and fetch us with his car to my ah ma house.. the traffic was horrible, all the vehicles < bike, car, motorcycles> were just going at all directions. I can’t even notice the traffic lights. While, I’ve reach the place and we have streamboat. Haiz my ah ma can’t even get down the bed. They say that she is sick so she didn't join us with the streamboat. The food that made me notice are small prawns . In singapore, the prawn we eat are those big one but at here we eat it like about 4 cm. And also the meat, erm.. I thought that the roasted meat .. have duck wings and dumstick.. is just like what we eat in singapore.. but my aunt say that it was .. swan meat.. omg.. I like swan >.< And also at first when I thought that the red meat was pork.. my uncle tell me that it is fish.. omg .. how come the fish meat looks and taste like pork.. can’t believe.. My uncle still say want to let me eat dog meat… nooooo…. I dun wan .. those cute dogies.. Anyway I’m going to sleep le . Going to wake up early tml to get to see the market >.< + forgot to mention that the pliot was very young and handsome .. haha |
